BRING IT SEASON 3-EPISODE 1- STRAIGHT OUTTA JACKSON

HAPPY NEW YEAR DDS NATION!

Well It has been a New Year's Day that has been building for weeks! We have been watching re-runs, talking on Social Media and watching previews of Season 3 of our FAVORITE show...And Honey, it was a Hell Of An Opening Show!

Dang, I thought I was going to have to pour water on my TV it was so hot! LOL. Starting with the New Year's Special BEFORE Episode 1. Christmas presents...Mama Drama..But Totally new and totally cool. The added interaction and opportunity to see more of DDP is great. I would say that was a good decision, wherever it came from.

So not only do we have a NEW Captain..we have several NEW Dolls and NEW Moms. As I knew last Season when everybody was talking so much smack about Cammie, SHE NAILED IT! Total Leadership...Total Control And Damn did you see her come out in the Street Battle. Shush Haters...Girl's Got Skills...LOL! #CAPTAINCAMMIE.

We got our Mama Drama with the New Mom and daughter Faith. And Ms Selena seems to have other things going on and so do the Twins. I am curious on where that will go. Both girls are beautiful but they sort of seemed like they were not as interested this Season. I hope they get it together and hang in there. We love seeing them but surely they will have to get busy to stay competitive with the other girls.

Now for that team from Compton and that Judge. First The Divas Of Compton. Their Coach was more than confident they were going to clean house. They came out looking sort of raggedy and unsure of what was happening. They did have several dancers that did pretty good. They may have been having a case of nerves because of being on TV...who knows. But our girls didn't do bad...Did you SEE Ms. Tick..Tick Boom Makaya? No Wonder they call her THAT...That Girl Burns The Floor UP! Way to GO MAKAYA! ..BUT that Coach for the Divas Of Compton..... I thought Dianna was coming cross the damn floor when she INSISTED that Dianna dance instead of Coach Kayla...KMSL..LOL..I thought Awwwww Hell...here we go...Dianna was moving and talking in a loud manner...LOL...Girl Was Yellin her butt off...LOL..One thing for sure Dianna let ole girl KNOW...JACKSON AIN'T NO PUNK...I almost fell outta my dang chair...LOL...Dianna don't play ya'll...you don't hear me...Dianna Williams DOES NOT PLAY With YOUR BEHIND! LOL

I thought it was a little bad sportmanship for the Compton Coach to get so aggressive over such a silly thing as Coach Kayla dancing instead of Dianna. She IS Coach now...NOT our problem if she is younger than the other Competitor...LOL...ANYWAY....Our Girls Won...No thanks to the doggone Judge though.
Anybody watching could see this heffer was NOT paying attention. What was going on with her..She spent more time staring over somewhere else than watching the dancers. How is it she could make a determination based on her actual observation of the event? I mean Damn...Either Judge or go sit down somewhere and let somebody else that is interested do it...LOL... Dianna saw her too..She was getting her on Social Media..LOL

Either Way It was an exciting Opening Night! Social Media is still buzzing and its 11:48 pm and I am still up...LOL

Stay Tuned DDS Nation! THIS is JUST THE BEGINNING! There are Many Amazing Things To Come This Season! Not Just the Show but the progress on the Birmingham students coming...Dianna opening a location in Dallas Texas...LOTS of things we haven't confirmed yet but will post updates.

Hope YOU HAD AN EXTRA SPECIAL NEW YEAR'S DAY WITH BRING IT COMING BACK ON!!!!
OH And ONE MORE THING:::: On Social Media when you are supporting, liking or sharing Stuff about the Dolls and the Show. DON'T FORGET TO USE HASHTAGS...THIS IS A HASHTAG # When you use them with words, they become trackable and help promote THOSE terms you use...LIKE #DD4L #BRINGIT #DDSNATION...So ALWAYS USE THOSE! It helps make sure they keep coming back for another Season!

GOD BLESS YA'LL FOR THE NEW YEAR! BEST WISHES FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FOR AN AMAZING AND BLESSED YEAR!

WAITING...WAITING....ARE YOU READY? #DD4L

OH MY....WAITING.....WAITING.....
Well DDS Nation...we are only 20 days away from the next Season of Bring It! It has been a long stretch between the Seasons and we are all anxiously, awaiting, the new shows. Over the last couple of months, we have watched many things happen. The rumor mills have been working overtime...Is Tamia gone? Is Zatia gone? Who is going to be Captain? What is a Crab? LOL...All kinds of questions and speculations going on. But it has kept us all busy and not so bored. We are all on the edge of our seats waiting for answers...LOL.

One thing that we have seen throughout this entire break is "Grace Under Fire"! The entire break has been filled with more and more beautiful things happening in the Dollhouse. Dianna hasn't flinched with the all the noise in her ear. When she began this journey, she had a plan. Though the plan may have veered in unknown directions, at times...it has never changed. Dianna knew where she wanted to go a long time ago..and now she is slowly but surely fulfilling each obligation, to get to that goal.

Her Dianna Williams Entertainment...the new school in Atlanta...new offices for her corporation..all things that were in the works...long before the show and long before everybody loved her to pieces. Now those dreams are turning into reality. As we get ready for this new Season of Bring It, we also should be ready to watch this Starship soar even higher. It isn't stopping with one more Season. This is just another step forward.

We have watched Dianna and the girls learn to handle the spotlight like Pros. They went from being shy and scared to blossoming into experts at posing for the cameras and dealing with the thousands of fans, clamoring trying to get a piece of them. It has been an amazing journey to watch. From being called a Small Town, Country Bumpkin...to showing an elegant, educated, well spoken woman, with her own mind and her own spirit. It has been so inspiring to see. I knew from the first time I saw the show, Dianna was going to be here, for awhile. Her determination and tenacity were shining brightly from the very beginning. The hunger for success has served her well throughout this journey.

We are all sitting on the edge of our seats, waiting for the next season and our girls are making their way, across the country, sponsoring Camps and loving the fans. From Chicago to Dallas, girls are continuing to flock to weekend camps to get the chance to dance with Kayla, Camryn and the rest of the Dolls participating.. Fans are filling up the Sunday Shows and getting to spend some great quality time with Dianna and the girls in the "Meet & Greet" Sessions. We have seen such great pictures of them having a blast, all across the country. Watch for me in Dallas...I have 3 granddaughters in Camp and I have tickets for everything...LOL. I hope to talk to our DDP and some of the girls..and if I am SUPER LUCKY, I am going to finally get to give Dianna a hug. I am excited..I will be wearing one of our DDS Nation T Shirts...Watch for pictures.!

So as we countdown to the next Season with our Dancing Dolls, we are excited and anxious to see where they go from here. We have watched Kayla and the other Senior Dolls graduate and get ready to move on to their futures, so we know, going into the new Season, changes are coming. It will be fun to see what transpires next. One thing we are sure of, Dianna is in control. She's got this and though speculation has ranged from total disbelief to total mistrust of her capablities, TRUE Fans KNOW she is smart and no doubt, knows what she is doing. For us, we want to watch her climb higher and to reach more and more folks that love dance and love what she stands for.

Get ready DDS Nation....We are just around the corner from Season 2B....How Will YOU Bring It For The Next Season?

THE RULES SOME NEVER LEARN! JUSTINJ AND HIS TEA!

I just really hate to deal with mess. I say it time after time, in my postings. My goal for this blog is to cover anything to do with the Dancing Dolls and the Show Bring It. My intention, was to make it all positive and all great information type articles. However, it would appear that mess keeps popping up and I refuse to walk away, quietly, when it involves one of the girls, directly.

Yet again, our YouTube Wanna Be Comedian, JustinJ, has decided to bust out with his analysis of something, Doll related. Most of the time and especially when it involves Dianna, I don't speak out much. Dianna is a grown ass woman and baby, she is more than capable of standing up to this punk.

So until, like the previous article, I feel the need to step in, I stand and let her handle it. But this latest attack is on Kayla. And why? Because, he saw a photo of her and analyzed EXACTLY what she was thinking. LOL. Not only is JustinJ a Comedian(not), he is also a photo analyst. He can actually tell exactly what a person's thought process is, by seeing a photo of them. LOL.

So the video, which I won't post, was about Kayla being jealous of  the Triple Threat Tour, which involves Sunjai, Tamia and Crystianna. He got that because of the snake associated with the picture. Again, amazing his psychic abilities. He seems to think he has, an inside track, on how much everybody involved, is making and assumes,  Kayla is mad, cuzz she isn't making as much money as the girls on the Triple Threat Tour! WHAT? He doesn't have a job, but has knowledge of income for everybody....LOL..... I didn't listen to the whole thing because it was just too much.

It was a weak video to begin with and so funny...which, oh wait...if the video was funny...maybe in some twisted, out of this world way, he is some sort of comedian. No, but it sounded good for a half of a second. LOL.

But lets go ahead and pour some of that TEA HE loves so much.

So To begin with JustinJ1232 would appear to be a nice boy. He isn't too hard to look at, though he is hard to listen to.

What are JustinJ's contributions to society?

  1. Extreme lack of English skills
  2. Has no visible means of supporting himself(He has no place to live and no job)
  3. Constant attacks on people he knows, won't come back and confront him directly.
  4. Attacks on children(Appears to be an expert on Children, though he has none)
  5. Becoming an online  beggar(Dude Posted a Paypal Donation Button on his VLOG!..Where's his sign?)
  6. He has no desire to put the effort in, to become anything but a "FREE RIDER"
  7. Entertaining the haters who can't do anything themselves but hate
  8. Attempting to be an Entertainment Critic

So knowing, what a successful and productive human being he is, makes us have so much more respect for his opinion of Dianna and the Dolls. Well no, but he seems to think that it does.

There are rules in life and JustinJ has never learned them.

  1. You can talk shit, if you have done shit.
  2. You are respected, if you have earned respect
  3. You are capable, if you have proven you have capabilities or are working to prove that.
  4. You can offer your advice and it will be taken, if you have the lived enough to have that wisdom to offer.
  5. You don't talk trash about kids...especially if you are a bonafide loser.

So, I am not going to make this a long, drawn out article. I would like to reach out to JustinJ and say this. Go back to school.....learn proper English...learn to write proper English...vs writing stuff that is obviously, so ignorant. Learn to talk with enough intelligence, so as not to appear to be from 40 miles out in the woods, if you want to be on camera.....Get a damn life for God's sake...a job...be productive. How do you expect to be an online beggar and call yourself capable of judging anyone?

Don't you realize how you look? I mean seriously the way you attacked Kayla....WOW dude...desperation at its best. IF you had anything but that green eyed monster working in your mind, you would be lifting ANY young person up to be greater than they could have been. BUT your anger and jealously is so overwhelming and obvious, it is just sad. Your obvious, SELF IMPOSED, opinion of WHY she posted that picture, at that moment, was a fabrication in your own mind. YOU are not a mind reader or a psychic. You have no profiling experience with the FBI, to be able to determine a person's mindset from a photograph. So Just STOP!

You have gone through the stuff, you have gone through, because of your own insecurities and anger...and because you are too lazy to work, but somehow, you think you are going to win with this type of Video Blog.  And you will always win with  haters...but that won't feed you...the haters ain't going to support your blog with DOLLARS....LOL!!!....WHY? CAUSE THEY ARE HATERS! LOL...They just want to hear you make an ass of yourself, so they can laugh at you....if you are trying to pay for that motel room off of those folks...its gonna be a long night!

I truly wish JustinJ would just stop talking about the Dolls...it would save me time and effort. However,  I won't be silent when it comes to these girls. JustinJ's incessant need to attack the girls of the Dollhouse,
won't be tolerated. You just don't attack kids. The deal here is...you attack them...I will dig and dig and dig until I have the same medicine for you....we can tit for tat all year long....Talk trash.....I talk trash..Totally your choice...I would venture, my attacks can be just as detrimental to your situation as you hope yours will be to the ladies of the Dollhouse Dance Factory....

I can do it as long as you can....LEAVE THE GIRLS ALONE! BE AN ADULT!

THE YEAR OF DIANNA WILLIAMS AND THE DOLLS

Well it has been just over a year since I became a fan of Dianna Williams and the Dancing Dolls. My first encounter was my granddaughter telling me about them. She was so excited and her first comments were, " Nana, you need to watch this show...Ms Dianna don't play...she is yelling and talking pure trash!" I must have laughed for a full minute, listening to her describe this new show called "Bring It".

I got the chance to see it the next Wednesday. I was totally hooked. Not because anybody was yelling or because Dianna was talking trash. I was instantly hooked because of the mission I could see in this program. Dianna's mission. Teaching girls to have goals and to be dedicated and to work hard for their dreams. Just seeing the affect it was having on my granddaughter, was enough to get involved.

From there, it has been a whirlwind. We have attended the camp in Dallas, took a roadtrip with 4 kids to the Dollhouse and to the first show of this season..I have made hundreds of pictures and many videos to post on Social Media and have written 35 articles for the Fan Blog here. I have met many of the folks from the show and love talking with them, when they have time on Facebook. My intention was not to do the stuff I have done but after seeing the impact, I felt I had to offer any help I could. Since the Internet and Social Media is what I do for work, I thought that would be the perfect contribution. I have loved every second of being involved and truly hope I have contributed to more exposure for this wonderful show.
With so much crap on TV, it was so refreshing to see a show that promoted morals, goals and dedication. I talked to folks who called Dianna a loud mouth and said, How can what she is doing help anybody?.....LOL. Okay. There were comments made that she was teaching the girls to be strippers and porn stars....LOL..Okay...LOL. We had the folks who just had to say, over and over the history of Dianna..any mistake she ever made was thrown in the streets.
I think, all of those negative statements, probably fall into the "Everybody has an opinion" category. It seemed in the beginning, the haters, just jumped out of nowhere, daily. I am sure everybody on the cast of Bring It, grew extremely tired of the mess. There was even a guy on YouTube who was point blank, calling Dianna all sorts of nasty stuff. He was soooo mad when the fans just blew up his page with comments defending Dianna and the Dolls.

But, as with all things that are good...the right thing, wins out over the negative. We are past a year with the show and with the mission of Dianna Williams. We have watched her blossom from a blunt force, trash talking country girl, from Jackson Mississippi, to a beautiful, elegant woman, who can handle herself in any situation. The goal, of helping girls become strong women in Jackson has turned into the sensation of Lifetime TV and has crossed the country like wildfire. Everywhere you go, you find Dancing Doll fans. They are packing the gyms and theaters to get a chance to see all of the Dolls. T shirts fly out the door...girls and guys are signing up for the workshops given in major cities and social media is recording about 250,000 fans and counting. This little ole country girl from down in the Good Ole South, is showing America what they didn't know.

In just over a year, Dianna has taken every opportunity to work and build a positive, long term business. Now, she has created an umbrella of business, that will carry her miles past TV and the Show. She has spent every second planning and using the doors opened to her, to put together a strong conglomerate of businesses. All which will benefit kids and the goals of dancing. Such as the new Dance Studio opening soon, in Atlanta Georgia. With the opening of her new offices, she now can manage things for many ventures, through one place. Having more staff and dedicated associates work directly on projects, will give Dianna more reach and more access to bigger and better opportunities. As we look over the last year and a half, we have not only seen Dianna change and grow, We have also watched girls and women, who also came from Jackson MS, get thrown into the spotlight as well. Women, who didn't start out looking for fame and Hollywood. Just regular, hard working, beautiful women, who wanted their daughters to have every chance possible, to have wonderful lives. Little did they know where it would all go. They have faded dumb stuff..they have taken abuse and negativity, way beyond what most people endure in a lifetime. It has truly shown just how tough and smart, Southern Women are and how willing to fight for better and for our kids, we are.

Tina, Mimi, Selena and Rittany have taken America's hearts by storm. We watched them grow and adapt and be the beautiful Moms, we know them to be. They never wavered, in their goal to help make this show a roaring hit. They have all used this opportunity to help secure better futures for their families and for their own lives. And the girls themselves...WOW..the transformation in pictures from the beginning until now, is amazing. Our BDD...what tough and resilient sweethearts. They are all so grown up and glamorous. From the BDD to our Dolls. It has been like watching butterflies emerge from their cocoons. And,though Kayla has graduated and Tina is no longer an active DDP, so to speak, I feel assured, we will continue to see both of them on the show.

It has been an exciting year for so many in the Dollhouse. It has also been exciting for fans. As a loyal DDS Nation founder & member(Dancing Doll Supporter Nation Founder & Member), I love seeing the reactions of people from everywhere. With over 10,000 views on this blog and thousands and thousands of views on Social Media posts, I have watched the passion take over and watched fans flock to the defense and support of the Dolls, like nothing I have ever seen.
All we have to do is post that someone said something that was negative or hurtful to ANYONE on the Dolls and thousands begin to blow up the opposing views or posts. LOL..No doubt the Dancing Dolls and Dianna Williams of little ole Jackson Mississippi have created a loyalty and a following that is going to last a long, long time. Any event with the Dolls involved sells out, long before its time.Season 2B starts in less than a month and we know the fans are ready. Everybody is excited and waiting to see who our girls battle next and what exciting things will happen at the Dollhouse. I see changes and upsets coming. We will have to wait and see though.

I salute you Dianna Williams and all of the people who have worked so hard to make this happen. I think yall are beautiful and I totally love seeing it happen. It is amazing and reassures me that as I get older and closer to the end of my life, that there are tons of young women teaching our next generation of women to be strong and to go for their dreams. This is so important. The roles women feel they can have in life has changed dramatically, since I was a young girl.
With people like Dianna Williams and the young women she is teaching, women will continue to evolve and grow into adults that are not taken for granted or abused or ignored, because they are women.
I will always be one of your
biggest fans and supporters. God Bless All Of You! On to the next year of success and blessings.

British Dictionary definitions for bully
1.
a person who hurts, persecutes, or intimidates weaker people
2.
(archaic) a hired ruffian

Before Facebook and Twitter...before the Internet and Cell phones..there were BULLIES. For thousands of years there have been Bullies. We hear about it more now, than ever before, because of the Internet. However, Bullies are not a new thing. And there are different types of Bullies. As you can see in the definition above, they come in all forms.
Dianna posted a kick off to a new project called #DD4LFansAgainstBullies. This was in response to a Young Fan, she was communicating with. She is a victim of bullying. She has gotten to the point of wanting to commit suicide. Dianna has been telling her how important it was, for her to see, how much folks cared. We hope that everyone has been posting the hashtag above, on the status updates to spread the word. We also hope that if YOU KNOW someone dealing with bullying, you will share this story of survival. There is hope.
I don't know how old this fan is but I wanted to send a special shout-out to her. YOU ARE NOT ALONE...YOU CAN SURVIVE & WIN! No matter what you think you look like or who you think you are...YOU ARE IMPORTANT! That’s why we wanted to tell the story of, a Survivor of Bullying.

She started life in a time when there were no computers or cell phones. When girls were told to stay in their place and not cause trouble. When life was supposed to be simpler and more open and honest. But her world was full of constant fear. Each day brought tears and untold feelings that never went away. As the sun rose in the sky each morning, she would wake up, wondering, what she would have to do that day, to avoid the people, who always seemed to be in the shadows, waiting to torture her.

From the drunken, tirades of her mother, who seemed to only call her by the horrible name she had given her, years before, to the brother, who lived to make her life miserable, to the kids at school, who talked about her family, under their breath and teased her unmercifully . Each morning, she just wanted, to not wake up and to not have to deal with the day. But each time, she knew, she had no choice but to just stand up and face it. Living in a time when suicide was considered a sin and kids just didn't do stuff like that, killing herself was never an option.

She knew she wanted to live and she knew there were people who cared and who loved her, even though it seemed they weren’t paying attention. She just didn't know how to get the support she needed. By age 12 and 1/2, her life, was to the point of total chaos. The abuse and bullying by her Mother had escalated into physical abuse and her brother's level of abuse had increased to regular sexual abuse. The only place she had always felt safe, was gone. Her grandmother had passed and she was on her own to either fight or to just accept it and to know that by accepting, her life would probably be over.

But just like all the times before, her heart told her to fight. To fight with everything she knew. Once accepting that she was not going to take it and that she was willing to do whatever it took to come out of it, her mind was made up. After yet one more fierce episode with her Mom and yet one more bad outcome, she packed what she could carry and walked away from this horrible world. A world that had made her more than ready, to move forward to something else.

Her hope of being totally free from bullying with this drastic move, appeared to be closer than ever. But with life and with bullies, just moving away or running away, doesn't guarantee that you are free of bullying. There are bullies everywhere. They are everywhere because bullies come from situations where they have problems too. Going to an Orphanage, makes that truth more reality, than most folks can absorb.

There are hundreds of kids, all pulled from the only families they have known, thrown together with untrained adults, trying to monitor everybody and everything. The bullying combinations become endless.
Her shyness and lack of self-confidence, made her an instant target & her newly, blossoming body made her even more vulnerable. The bullying seemed to take on a different form in the children's home. She didn't feel the threatening family connection anymore but felt like she was out in the middle of a war, all on her own, with no one to tell or ask for help. She knew that she had to learn to take care of herself and to defend herself, if she was going to survive.

It seemed like 4 years took 10, to her. It finally seemed like she had made it...like she had overcome the bullies and the bad people in her life. Graduation was being set free from prison. She felt strong and sure that she would never have to go through being bullied and abused ever again.

Then she met him. The one thing, she had never encountered in her life. A man, who both stole her heart and shook her world. He was handsome and strong and had all of the right conversations. But he too was a bully. He too, had his way of intimidation and domineering ways. He too was living through his own set of problems. He too wanted the control and power that bullying gives people. Through 16 years of beatings and abuse and degrading, name calling, along with putting her on the street to make money, she succumbed to the bullying. She had been taught that you get married, you have children, you stay until they are grown. So she spent those years, thinking, yet again, she was trapped and there was no way out of the horror, she had allowed. Her children were her saving grace and she clung to that as much as she could.

It would seem, with her life getting turned totally upside down, there would never be a chance to get out of the abuse, she had accepted for so long. Drug abuse...beatings...forced behavior and exploitation appeared to be the final chapter of her life. She was to the bottom of the barrel and at the end of her rope. She had allowed herself to be bullied for so long, she no longer wanted to fight. She only wanted it to stop. She just wanted to be at peace and to be finished with her crazy, out of control life. For the first time in her entire life, she felt her only option was to do what so many were doing. To take her own life. To end the pain and the torture and to give up on trying to be happy or to be okay.

As she stood waiting for the end of her life to be full filled, she prayed what she thought was her final prayer. She asked God to forgive her for being weak and to take care of her family and her children. While she prayed that final prayer, she began to feel a peace in her heart, she had never felt before. But the peace didn't come from knowing her life was about to end, it came from relief that she wouldn't have to be that person anymore....relief from living in terror every single day.
But God wasn't ready for her to go and the next step she made, changed the course of her life forever. Like turning on a light in a dark room, the words she heard, made her realize that she was valuable and important...if to no one else but God...she was worthy of being alive. She heard in her heart, God say, " I make no mistakes and you are valuable to me. Lean on me child, You still have work to do. Know that I will carry you until you are strong again!"
As the tears poured down, the fear went away and the courage, she remembered from so long ago, began to come back. She walked away from the abuse. She declared her freedom from bullying and her freedom from the chains of feeling like she wasn't good enough to be part of this life. She started her journey to becoming the person, God brought her here to be.

Through the years, she has crossed the paths of Bullies, many times. She has dropped her guard but has never again wavered in her promise to NEVER allow ANYONE to make her feel unworthy or unloved again. Because of that promise, she has become strong and confident and capable of standing up to anyone who threatens to Bully or Intimidate or Abuse, who she is.

After years of working on being who she is today, she has also influenced the people around her. Her children, her grandchildren, her friends and family all know she is tough and she don't play about bullying. This has encouraged them to stand up against bullies themselves and to be the protectors of those they meet who appear to be victims. Her confidence that no matter, what she looks like, she is a beautiful person and no matter the opinions of others, she is a valuable part of this world, shows in the work she does and the life she lives.

Bullies are people who have problems themselves. But that doesn't give them permission to abuse others. Whether by the words said or the actions taken, bullying comes in many different ways. It is not okay. It is not funny. It is not cool.

The girl in the story above is me. I grew up in an abusive, alcoholic family. I fought my brother off of me for years. I fought an abusive husband for over 16 years. I endured a mother who called me "Slut" instead of my name until I couldn't take it anymore.
But after years, when I got to the point of taking my own life, because I was so tired of hurting and feeling the pain I was feeling, I had a life changing event happen. I realized in those moments that no matter WHO you are,
YOU MATTER! GOD DON'T MAKE MISTAKES! YOU HAVE A PURPOSE!

It has been many years now and I am old. I haven't taken abuse or accepted it in my world for many years. Bullies haven't changed since I was a kid. The kids who called me names across the school yard or the intimidation from brothers and other people to make those who allow it do unspeakable things....none of that has changed...it has just evolved into different forms.
We now have instant bullying and instant pain shoveled out. Our kids and others who may not be kids, are trapped, in a pattern of abuse and bullying that sends them to the point of wanting to commit suicide...and many have done that. Young, precious lives taken because they felt no hope....They felt their lives didn't matter anymore…Grown folks, who were just too tired of dealing with other grown folks picking on them…

Our society has allowed bullying to not be a big deal and to let those that are the "BULLIES" get away with it for so long, those that are living through it, lose hope and feel they have no other way out. Changing that, like everything else, takes a village. It takes us recognizing bullying and helping those being bullied to overcome being a victim.

My generation said, get over it and move on....God only knows the victims of bullying from my era, who didn't make it. I was blessed to recognize the truth before, I didn't make it. I recognized that the folks who make our rules of what is acceptable and who is acceptable are inferior themselves and have no right to say who is good and who isn’t because of looks or circumstances.

For anyone who loves the Dancing Dolls and who is reading this article...KNOW THIS...

1.     The people picking on you, have many more problems than you do!

2.     There is no such thing as PERFECT! If they are being mean to you and "BULLYING" YOU...it’s because, they KNOW they are not PERFECT! They are also "undercover scaredy cats"! IF YOU CONFRONT THEM And LET THEM KNOW...YOU AREN'T SCARED OF THEM...they will back down and leave you alone!

Quincy: Is It Real Or Is It Memorex?

Well this Season of Bring It is coming to an end. It has been a wild ride from the 1st Episode. We have gone through Dianna raising the roof to the Mama Drama and last week, we watched as Quincy, Coach of the Prancing Tigerettes had a meltdown. Not a meltdown of nerves or a meltdown caused by being afraid of losing, but one of over acting.

We know that much drama is instilled into reality shows, to heighten the experience for the people watching, but I think Quincy may be over the top, ALL the time. The Baby Tigerettes came out on top, when they battled the previous week., though we haven't figured out why. Quincy came full out, with the main squad. He was as full of himself, as I have ever seen. With the previous week's win, his obnoxious level went from 100-10,000. Calling Dianna out, basically.

The thing with his cockiness, it's all because he has spent countless hours going to Doll events, skulking around, trying to learn what makes the Dolls, so damn good. It wasn't hours spent designing his own choreography...it was spent being a copy cat....which is very, sad. I agree there are no patents on dance moves or routines, but if you spend all of your time, JUST copying other teams, where is your originality?

His explanation that he changed it up, to make it better, was weak at best. So Quincy spent the entire show, talking trash and running his head. When it came down to brass tacks, he failed the test. But Quincy wasn't the only fly in the ointment last week.

Our sweetheart Selena is like a dog with a bone, over her children. Can't say I blame her for pushing and planning and trying to get the best for your child, but it is borderline aggravating. She worries the hell out of Dianna over her girls. She spent the better part of last week railing at Dianna about the twins. NO MATTER HOW BAD they dance or how much everybody else can see how bad they are doing, Selena is sure they are the best ones on the floor. Which, as we know is normal behavior for Selena. She is dramatic and has kept us laughing and shaking our heads, since the show came on. I know Dianna gets to the point she wants to slap the hell out of her.....lol.

Dianna's knee injury, had her on a crutch and had her attitude crutched up as well...lol. She attempted to talk to Selena, cause Selena said that is what she wanted.....but when Dianna tried to say anything, Selena couldn't find the off button, so Dianna just walked off on her. WOW....LOL..

When the Dolls hit the floor for the Creative Dance...the house went totally wild. Dianna's, 80's, Janet Jackson themed dance was amazing. The precision she had demanded during practice, shined through brightly. Everybody looked fantastic and they rocked the floor. Best dance all season, I think.

Stand Battles came down to the Prancing Tigerettes and the Dancing Dolls. I almost fell out of my chair when the girl on the Tigerettes hit the floor trying to be Kayla...LOL..Kayla almost fell over. The look on her face was priceless. Then another girl came out acting like Camryn..OMG..You are kidding, right? Nope, Quincy was not kidding...He had spent more than one practice TRYING to teach his team to DANCE LIKE DOLLS...When the scorecard came down from our Teacher, Coach D, Quincy FAILED. Report Card IS IN QUINCY...YOU GOT AN F!

F For FAILING TO COPY PROPERLY and F For FEELING YOU CAN COPY ANYTHING the Dolls do and copy it well....and F For BEING TOO BIG FOR YOUR BRITCHES....Total Night....FFFFF....LOL. So the Question for Quincy would be...Is is REAL or Is It Memorex? LOL.. Of Course the Dolls walked away with the win. We knew they would. The precision and the originality of their dances carried the day. Though they did a reenactment of Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation...they did it with their own flare and moves...not a Copycat dance.

It has been a great Season for the Dancing Dolls and our show "Bring It". As it winds down and we get ready for the Battle Royale, we know that soon, it will be break time for our girls. As they get ready to film the next Season, we know, they are coming back before long, ready with new battles and new drama. We know we have several of our Dolls graduating and will be leaving. It will be exciting to see where the show and the girls go from here. We can surely expect to see lots more, "Mama Drama", especially with our sweet Selena. She has more years to be involved with the Dolls and promises never to leave us, bored or not entertained. LOL.

The Battles are far from over and though we will be seeing new faces, we know we are going to be super excited by the time the next season gets here. Folks will be filling their Friday nights with reruns of Bring It and anything online, that has Dolls in it. It has been fun and we can't wait for the "Battle Royale". Who will carry the Season, DDS Nation? Are the Dolls going to come out on top for the Final Battle of the Season? Stay Tuned! We Will Be There!

A Lifetime Of Dancing: Graduating From Baby Dancing Doll To The Dancing Dolls: Meet Kayla Griffin

In our ongoing effort to get to know our Dancing Dolls better, we are introducing Kayla Griffin, this week.
Yes, I did say KAYLA..not our Current, Captain Kayla, but a graduate and previous Captain, from the Baby Dancing Dolls. Kayla Griffin is a familiar face, that you just didn't know, was familiar. You have seen her on Bring It and more than likely, have seen her on Facebook or Twitter. She is a beautiful young lady, who stands out in her dance and her personality.

We talked with Kayla's Mom, Meia. We wanted to know everything she was willing to tell us. Of course, our first question was, How long has Kayla been a member of the Dollhouse Dance Factory? Her Mom told us, Kayla joined the Baby Dancing Dolls at the ripe, young age of 5. She has been dancing now, for 6 years. The next obvious question we had, was: "What has it been like for Kayla to transition from the Baby Dancing Dolls to the Dancing Dolls? Are there going to be more practices? More time involved to participate? She told us that the change has been a definite challenge for Kayla. She said, "Dancing with the Dolls is a whole new world. Even though they are 1 team, they dance on totally different levels." And of course practice is longer she told us, because the dance styles are so different." Well, of course...LOL...She also said both teams "Bring It" when they dance but the Dancing Dolls do a lot of stunts and routines that are much longer than the BDD."

Our next question was about Kayla's favorite style of dance. Meia said, "One thing I wanted Kayla to be, when she first started dancing, was versatile. She started with ballet, Tap and Majorette, but overall her favorite is Majorette and that seems to be her stronger type of dance."

And you know we could not let this great chance go by without asking about the future and what Kayla wants to do after the Dolls and school? Does she want to go to college? Will she stay involved in dance? Meia says the decision to continue dance is something Kayla will decide as she gets older. She does have a deep interest in Engineering and her college of choice will probably be Mississippi State. If she continues to dance, Meia says she will be happy with whatever decision she makes. She told DDS Nation, "I support Kayla in whatever she decides to do."

Since Meia is a DDP, we were wondering about her dance history and experience. We were so surprised to find out that Meia was actually a Dancing Doll herself. Under the direction of a lady named, Ms Charollette. Meia is like all proud moms. She told us, "It's amazing that Kayla kept the legacy alive...or is okay to just say, She Gets It From Her Mom?" And we know that is where she gets it girl. You go with that one. I like that description.

We wanted to know what effect, being on the Show and being more recognized, has had on Kayla and the family? Meia told us that Kayla didn't tell her friends at school about being on the Show, until recently. Which was an easier secret to keep in private school. However, other people recognized her walking by and would stare & say outloud, "Theres that Captain from the Baby Dancing Dolls". Others just come up and ask for a picture with her. Her Mom says it has definitely been an adjustment, to get used to folks, doing the things they do. Meia says Kayla is pretty neutral about the show. She just loves to dance..if she is on TV..cool..but to her the bigger thing is dancing..

We also wanted to get an idea of what parents like Meia, thought about the Show and all of the popularity. She said it was a mixed blessing for Jackson and for The Dollhouse Dance Factory. Exposure for the team is great and letting the world know what Jackson, Mississippi has to offer, is absolutely wonderful, she said. She said on the negative side, it had created many emotional situations among parents. Parent's, whose children, are not chosen to be on TV, tend to get on their feelings pretty easily. Meia was quick to add, "It's been a rocky road, but with God, all of this is possible!"

Our final question for Meia was about Kayla becoming Captain of the Dancing Dolls someday. She told us that people are always asking her about that. She said, "She might, you just never know. I am just waiting to see what the Dancing Dolls have in store for her." And we know that Kayla has been a fantastic Captain for the BDD, so being Captain for the Dancing Dolls, would be a natural transition for her.

We know at DDS Nation that Kayla is going to be an exciting addition to the Dolls and is going to dance her heart out. We look forward to watching her grow up with the Dancing Dolls. Hey Kayla...we are DDS Nation and We Are Behind You 125%!   Thanks Meia for giving us a wonderful interview. We will be watching and cheering for ya'll.

Dancing Dolls Captain Kayla: Living In The Dream & Beyond

Well the new season of Bring It is getting ready to take off on January 23rd. As we wait, with great anticipation, to see each episode of the show, we want to take time to get to know all of the wonderful people, who are a part of the Dollhouse Dance Factory and the show. We are reaching out to both Dancing Dolls and DDP to get you exclusive information and answers to your questions. Over the course of this Season, we hope to interview everyone, you have been dying to hear from and to get their thoughts and feelings on everything, "Dancing Dolls" and their own lives apart from the Dolls. Let's get started.

Our first Doll Showcase Interview is Captain Kayla. Kayla has emerged as a strong dancer and a strong leader. Since she was very small, Kayla  has always loved dancing. It was evident from a young age, she had a drive and a love for the arts and in particular, for dancing.

Since starting classes at the Dollhouse Dance Factory in 2008, Kayla seems to be in fluid motion, all the time. Simple chores and activities become a practice session for her passion. Kayla told us she has never really been involved with any other sports. She said, " Nothing else makes me feel like I feel when I am dancing". She also says, "Spending so much time together, that to say the Dolls are a "sisterhood" is an understatement. Having patience is important. Like Dianna always says, "All of our lives have ups and downs, happy times and bad ones".  Kayla said, "I have experienced life both ways."

Kayla's passion for dance was, no doubt, passed on to her, by her mom,Tina.
Tina loved dancing from childhood as well, getting involved in middle school, but then let it go. Though she didn't pursue dance, as a career, she loves to dance, anytime the chance comes around. Her dance, "The Fat Girl Shuffle" is a tribute to her love of dancing. It's also recognition of her ability to be a self confident, in control, woman.

Kayla and Tina have a mother-daughter relationship that is what everyone hopes for with their children. Honesty, support, dedication and love. Tina says her hope for Kayla, for now and for her future, is to be happy and to live life without regrets and guilt. Tina says being a Dancing Doll has given her daughter many lessons that will benefit her throughout her life. Tina said, "Dancing Dolls has shown her the good, bad and ugliest of the world. Dancing Dolls is not a scout troop and nothing is "sugar coated". Ms. D is not always the most agreeable person, but neither is life. Being with the girls and with DDP, Kayla can always say she has got 50+ sisters and 50+ moms, that have her back."

Kayla's Dad is also a huge part of her life as well. Terrell and Kayla are very close on the show. He is involved with the show and is there for advice and support, all of the time. The fatherly influence he has, is apparent and just makes us love this family even more. They put their family ahead of personal things and focus on the best for all involved in the family.

Tina believes that Kayla is ready for whatever the world brings her. Her experience with Ms. D and the Dancing Dolls, has given her many life skills that will make her successful, whatever the future brings to her.

We wanted to see what Kayla's plans are for the future, so we ask her what's next? She told us, her number 1 goal is to continue to dance. She also said, College is definitely in her plan but she has not made a decision on which College she wants to attend. She also says, "Owning my studio is a vision in my mind, but I am just going to follow my heart right now. I don't know exactly what my future holds, but I am going to always do what makes me happy." She told us that being Ms. D's Assistant at the Dollhouse definitely sounds good. "Time will tell", Kayla said, "I'm already the Majorette Instructor, so we will have to see if the Assistant position is next."

Both Kayla and Tina agree that the Dancing Dolls experience has been positive and has given Kayla the lifeskills to succeed throughout her entire life. Though the show has obviously been a plus, the character and personality that Kayla has grown into, has been highly impacted by her involvement with Ms. D and the Dollhouse. No matter the future of the show, Kayla will continue to use the skills she has gained to make her life work and to be the happy person she is now, for her entire life.

As a #DDSNATION member, I will continue to root for Kayla and for Tina and the rest of their family. We are so excited to see her become a woman and to see her grow, as a part of the Dollhouse Family. Kayla & Tina have become a part of our families and our hearts, as have the rest of the girls and the DDP. It's amazing to watch all of them, as they change and grow into wonderful young women. Our future looks very bright when you see these young women becoming the next generation.

Dianna has impacted many lives in Mississippi and across the country. Her dedication to her girls at the Dollhouse, is a testament to her love and devotion, to the next generation of women and her desire to give back to the community. She not only shines her light for the girls, it shines for the DDP as well. Her legacy will live on in young women like Kayla and will be an influence in girls lives for many years to come.

Kayla is the first, of many Dancing Doll stories, who we hope to highlight this Season. Stay tuned for our next Interview.....Thanks Kayla and Tina for letting us be a part of telling your stories. We have tremendous respect and admiration for ya'll and look forward to watching you great things. God Bless You And Your Families.
