BRING IT SEASON 3-EPISODE 1- STRAIGHT OUTTA JACKSON

HAPPY NEW YEAR DDS NATION!

Well It has been a New Year's Day that has been building for weeks! We have been watching re-runs, talking on Social Media and watching previews of Season 3 of our FAVORITE show...And Honey, it was a Hell Of An Opening Show!

Dang, I thought I was going to have to pour water on my TV it was so hot! LOL. Starting with the New Year's Special BEFORE Episode 1. Christmas presents...Mama Drama..But Totally new and totally cool. The added interaction and opportunity to see more of DDP is great. I would say that was a good decision, wherever it came from.

So not only do we have a NEW Captain..we have several NEW Dolls and NEW Moms. As I knew last Season when everybody was talking so much smack about Cammie, SHE NAILED IT! Total Leadership...Total Control And Damn did you see her come out in the Street Battle. Shush Haters...Girl's Got Skills...LOL! #CAPTAINCAMMIE.

We got our Mama Drama with the New Mom and daughter Faith. And Ms Selena seems to have other things going on and so do the Twins. I am curious on where that will go. Both girls are beautiful but they sort of seemed like they were not as interested this Season. I hope they get it together and hang in there. We love seeing them but surely they will have to get busy to stay competitive with the other girls.

Now for that team from Compton and that Judge. First The Divas Of Compton. Their Coach was more than confident they were going to clean house. They came out looking sort of raggedy and unsure of what was happening. They did have several dancers that did pretty good. They may have been having a case of nerves because of being on TV...who knows. But our girls didn't do bad...Did you SEE Ms. Tick..Tick Boom Makaya? No Wonder they call her THAT...That Girl Burns The Floor UP! Way to GO MAKAYA! ..BUT that Coach for the Divas Of Compton..... I thought Dianna was coming cross the damn floor when she INSISTED that Dianna dance instead of Coach Kayla...KMSL..LOL..I thought Awwwww Hell...here we go...Dianna was moving and talking in a loud manner...LOL...Girl Was Yellin her butt off...LOL..One thing for sure Dianna let ole girl KNOW...JACKSON AIN'T NO PUNK...I almost fell outta my dang chair...LOL...Dianna don't play ya'll...you don't hear me...Dianna Williams DOES NOT PLAY With YOUR BEHIND! LOL

I thought it was a little bad sportmanship for the Compton Coach to get so aggressive over such a silly thing as Coach Kayla dancing instead of Dianna. She IS Coach now...NOT our problem if she is younger than the other Competitor...LOL...ANYWAY....Our Girls Won...No thanks to the doggone Judge though.
Anybody watching could see this heffer was NOT paying attention. What was going on with her..She spent more time staring over somewhere else than watching the dancers. How is it she could make a determination based on her actual observation of the event? I mean Damn...Either Judge or go sit down somewhere and let somebody else that is interested do it...LOL... Dianna saw her too..She was getting her on Social Media..LOL

Either Way It was an exciting Opening Night! Social Media is still buzzing and its 11:48 pm and I am still up...LOL

Stay Tuned DDS Nation! THIS is JUST THE BEGINNING! There are Many Amazing Things To Come This Season! Not Just the Show but the progress on the Birmingham students coming...Dianna opening a location in Dallas Texas...LOTS of things we haven't confirmed yet but will post updates.

Hope YOU HAD AN EXTRA SPECIAL NEW YEAR'S DAY WITH BRING IT COMING BACK ON!!!!
OH And ONE MORE THING:::: On Social Media when you are supporting, liking or sharing Stuff about the Dolls and the Show. DON'T FORGET TO USE HASHTAGS...THIS IS A HASHTAG # When you use them with words, they become trackable and help promote THOSE terms you use...LIKE #DD4L #BRINGIT #DDSNATION...So ALWAYS USE THOSE! It helps make sure they keep coming back for another Season!

GOD BLESS YA'LL FOR THE NEW YEAR! BEST WISHES FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FOR AN AMAZING AND BLESSED YEAR!

BOOM! Just Like That! Friend Or Enemy?

Well...Well...If you were not watching Bring It last night...dang you missed the show...LOL..Lord have mercy, I don't when I have been more wide eyed and been more glued to the TV, than last night.

It was the "Storm In Jackson" last night. We have been hearing the rumors, talking among ourselves and speculating on What happened with Zatia and Tawantza. NOW we know..no more speculating. Dianna has tolerated and put up with Tawantza and her negativity 4 EVER. Last night was the end of that mess. Tawantza made her final mistake by thinking she could go off about Dianna in the room with the other DDP. Heffer PLEASE! Mimi, Tina, Rittany, not to mention Selena. ALL long time DDP who support Dianna! LOL WOW! Talk about mistakes! That was the QUEEN of mistakes.

And in true form, Dianna snapped right off on her. LOL..I love this woman....she never hesitates to just SAY it! LOL! She made it very CLEAR, you are either WITH the DOLLS or YOU are an ENEMY! My thoughts exactly! When Tawantza came on the show, I thought, Dang this girl talks lots of shit to be a DDP! Sure Nuff, THAT was her downfall. Dianna TOLD her...YOUR MOUTH is the problem, NOT Zatia! So Tawantza is the REAL REASON, Zatia isn't at the Dollhouse anymore!

If you don't know WHEN to shut up, you are going to ALWAYS put your damn foot in your mouth! LOL! Fact! Sadly, her kid is the one who loses...NOBODY is going to put up with the negativity and hate, Tawantza brings along, with Zatia. And Dianna damn sure ain't gonna put up with it...She flat told her, she couldn't do it and too bad..so sorry...but Bye Girl! LOL...WOW...I thought for a minute, Dianna may come off the chair and get closer to Tawantza's.....with her hands....around her silly ole neck......KMSL...

But the cat is out of the bag now and hopefully, we can move forward to bigger and better things...like the new bad ass dance teams that are coming to Battle the Dolls! And Kayla, Ms D's new Assistant AND the new choreography that is giving the Dolls so much more of an advantage. How about how Camryn KILLED it last night, as Captain.

No hesitation or backing up...She hit the floor full steam and never let up...She led the Dolls to a victory over the Purple Diamonds, easily. And though many were doubting Cammie's ability to pull it off, Mama Mimi, never wavered...she was confident her baby was fixing to blow it up! AND SHE DID!....You knew Mama!

What about that girl Kayla? Or I should I say...Asst Kayla? Kayla has wowed us over and over throughout the last couple of Seasons. Her determination and dedication to be the Best At Being Captain, has kept us cheering her on. Last night this girl, came out like the Queen, we have named her. She was strong and tough and she wasn't going easy on anybody.

She stepped right into the Asst Coaching position, without missing a beat. She knew Camryn could be tough and she didn't hesitate to let Cammie know what she was expecting from her. After last night, I think it is safe to say, Dianna made an excellent decision, making Kayla her Assistant! I think it expands the horizons for the both the show and the Dollhouse's future.

Of course we have gotten comments on the DDS Nation pages about the negative aspects...Folks minding others people's business...like..."What about College? I thought she got a scholarship?" or "Dang, she just gonna ride on Ms. D's dime, instead of creating her own life?" LOL...Well for you folks, I would say...MIND YOUR BUSINESS! Tina and Terrell have GOT THIS!...LOL..And I am betting Kayla does too! So all you people still looking for the negative...BYE!

We can't talk about last night and not talk about those beautiful girls Sunjai, Star &  Skye. Sunjai always Brings It when she hits the floor and the Twins joined the Stand Battle last night, turning it up, like we haven't seen them do before. They are growing up and getting more beautiful each time we see them...To see them hit the floor and nail it, was very cool! We know our girl Selena is as proud as can be....she never fails in her support of all of her kids...Sometimes, we look at her twice, but she is a great mom and loves those babies..and she is beautiful herself...Love seeing these ladies work as a family!

What's else happened last night? Oh yes, NEW DOLLS...Ms. Jaelen...Former Doll...went to the Purple Diamonds...now she is back with the Dancing Dolls. More to come on Jaelen later...but one thing is for sure..her Mom Nashamba is not shy about supporting her baby...we saw total support and pride beaming through her last night. She knows her daughter can dance and she is going to be right there telling folks....LOL..We Welcome Jaelen and Nashamba BACK to the Dolls. We look forward to hearing about them and watching Jaelen dance. She is beautiful and rocked the floor last night.

Okay, Dance Talent....Well them Purple Diamonds, Jackson's other Dance School, are still burning up the floor. They are talented and always bring great dance choreography to every competition. Their Coach is tough and works them hard. Though her and Dianna spark at times, I think they are  Hometown Acquaintances and have tremendous respect for each other. But the Purple Diamonds are always a force to be reckoned with. They are precise and prepared at every event. They brought it last night but the Dolls brought it better.

The other teams that participated last night are the Altanta Glitter (https://www.facebook.com/AtlantaGlitter)from Atlanta Georgia of course and Fierce Elite (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fierce-Elite-Dance-Team/783075895058045) from Little Rock Arkansas. Links are for their Facebook pages if you want more information. These teams were tough and its fantastic to see new faces on the floor. Though we are always excited to see what the Divas or Purple Diamonds are up to...seeing the talent from other places gives us something unfamiliar and exciting to look forward to each week....AND it is very cool for other Dance Teams to get that exposure. We can't wait to see what and who Dianna has in store for us next week.

So winding down topics on this recap we have to mention Tamia...We know you saw her last night. Hmmph...FB was blowing up with people saying...Oooohhhh...I saw Tamia...What's Up? LOL..Well due to the magic of TV, you may see her some more..so STOP speculating...Its a cycle of working through episodes...she will be phased out with the Season progressing. LOL...She hasn't returned...as much as that hurts some of you folks. LIG!

The 2nd episode of Season 2B is in the can and all you can say is WOW! WOW because it was a roller coaster of things happening...Tawantza after weeks and weeks of mess from her on the Social Media.....New Job for our Sweetheart Kayla...that she ROCKED......Camryn taking that Captain Position and Claiming LIKE A BOSS....New Blood in the Dollhouse that has Mad Skills....WOW! What a second Episode!...I need a nap just talking about it...LOL..

Social Media also blew up with the Haters...Tawantza..JustinJ....this negative person..that negative person...maddening and funny....We knew Tawantza would get going and it never fails that our sad friend was going to open up and add to the fray!

Last and ALWAYS LEAST...Our Little Insecure Boy, JustinJ got his tiny little TWO CENTS in last night....His misery is getting so old...I don't even have the energy to talk about it anymore...He IS CLUELESS...JOBLESS...LOVELESS.....MORALESS....CARELESS...AND USELESS!....SO the LESS We discuss him...the LESS he gets under our skin....HOW DO YOU LISTEN TO STUPID? YOU DON'T! He is hedging his bets on a TV show....WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THAT DUMMY?...LOL..NOT Worth My Effort To Discuss Much!..Bye JustinJ..Go Play In Your Blankie....LOL...
We hope your enjoyed the Second Episode of Season 2B....We loved it.....A surprise a second! LOL....Needless to say it was a fantastic show and ONCE AGAIN...Ya'll BLEW UP Social Media....Bring It Trended Way Up there last night for the 2ND TIME!

YA'LL ARE ABSOLUTELY....HANDS DOWN...THE  BEST FANS IN THE WORLD! STAY TUNED!....ITS GONNA KEEP ON GETTING BETTER! DON'T BLINK!

WHY YOU STILL MAD THOUGH?

Well DDS Nation, we are just days away from the New Season of Bring It. WOW..it seems like it has been years since the last Season. But we have had lots of entertainment over the break. From Mama Drama to total meltdown in the Dollhouse, we have seen a wide variety of mess happening.

If you are just now getting on board with the Dancing Dolls or have been on break too, then you have missed a lot. During the break several girls have left and several Moms have left as well. When the next Season begins in 13 days, Tamia will be absent and Zatia and her Mom Tawantza will be absent from the cast. Due to disagreements, disgruntled folks and limited tolerance for Crap, Ms. Dianna has gone on a Dollhouse Dance Factory Cleanup Session...LOL

So as we get ready to start the new Season, Social Media is burning up with sour grapes. Our wild-eyed, angry mom, Tawantza is taking to the Social Media sites to plead her case and gain support for her supposed injustice. She feels like the whole thing has been a mistake and that Dianna has been unfair. She is targeting other DDP, that she has had problems with, by calling them out with threats and insults. She has gone so far as to attack both Dianna and Robert, with ugly name calling and innuendos of bad behavior. It would seem she is throwing a hissy fit over the whole thing.

We have all seen this behavior from people around us, before. You know those folks that lose their jobs and its ALL because of somebody else? Yes that person! Well, that is what is happening here.

I don't know all the details of the argument, about anybody that left. I know, what we have been told by folks, at the Dollhouse. So, as I have said before...Dianna OWNS the Dollhouse Dance Factory...She is in charge...SO if it was her decision to put folks out, I trust she knows what the hell she is doing.  Having said that, I would like to address our disgruntled Mama, Tawantza.

Sugar, sit down somewhere and put your life together. You are acting ridiculous! You have a beautiful child, that can dance...so Why You Still Mad? From the first day you showed up on the show, I had a bad feeling, about your participation. You appeared to be negative and petty and full of yourself. That has proven to be the case, for sure. Your latest antics, online, is definitive proof that you are too immature and too selfish, to make it too far. So seeing how you have acted, just confirms what I knew already.

What is sad about it all, is your child. You could move on and do great things to help her, but you won't. You are spending valuable time, making yourself look like a nut. All those threats and meeting somebody to fight and all of that dumb shit, is ridiculous....GROW UP! YOU GOT PUT OUT! YOU MESSED UP! ACCEPT THAT AND MOVE ON! FOCUS ON YOUR CHILD...NOT ON THE PAST! Don't end up going to jail or messing up the rest of your life, over your anger.

You are not going to make your situation any better by continuing to put this fight in the street. You just look stupid. So WHAT is your ultimate Goal? Is it to prove to the world that you an ignorant, backwards, country bumpkin? OR, do you have the intelligence to wrap up the bullshit and do what it takes to help Zatia, become what she wants to be? It would be a very sad thing to see such a beautiful opportunity go out the window, because you can't see past yourself and your mistakes! And ALL of those SO-CALLED Supporters on your Instagram and other Social Media, LOL....are just there until you are not the newest, shiny object in the box anymore...which won't be long.....they are NOT your friends.

I don't do back and forth arguing on Social Media...ain't down for that....However, I still roll with the Dolls and with Dianna Williams. I still stand firm in my support of their mission and not as an Ass Kisser, as was posted on your Instagram. I don't have to kiss ASS, I see the results of what they do, up close and personal

. So I will continue to defend and support the show and them. Your ranting and raving hasn't changed that. I will also continue to call out the folks that choose to show out....like you. And what you obviously DON'T KNOW, is these folks have put their time in this business...All YOU did was FOLLOW ALONG....If YOU had a valid argument for WHY you were put out, I might feel sympathy for your cause...but obviously you don't. So the question remains? WHY YOU STILL MAD THOUGH? MOVE AROUND & MOVE ON!

Quincy: Is It Real Or Is It Memorex?

Well this Season of Bring It is coming to an end. It has been a wild ride from the 1st Episode. We have gone through Dianna raising the roof to the Mama Drama and last week, we watched as Quincy, Coach of the Prancing Tigerettes had a meltdown. Not a meltdown of nerves or a meltdown caused by being afraid of losing, but one of over acting.

We know that much drama is instilled into reality shows, to heighten the experience for the people watching, but I think Quincy may be over the top, ALL the time. The Baby Tigerettes came out on top, when they battled the previous week., though we haven't figured out why. Quincy came full out, with the main squad. He was as full of himself, as I have ever seen. With the previous week's win, his obnoxious level went from 100-10,000. Calling Dianna out, basically.

The thing with his cockiness, it's all because he has spent countless hours going to Doll events, skulking around, trying to learn what makes the Dolls, so damn good. It wasn't hours spent designing his own choreography...it was spent being a copy cat....which is very, sad. I agree there are no patents on dance moves or routines, but if you spend all of your time, JUST copying other teams, where is your originality?

His explanation that he changed it up, to make it better, was weak at best. So Quincy spent the entire show, talking trash and running his head. When it came down to brass tacks, he failed the test. But Quincy wasn't the only fly in the ointment last week.

Our sweetheart Selena is like a dog with a bone, over her children. Can't say I blame her for pushing and planning and trying to get the best for your child, but it is borderline aggravating. She worries the hell out of Dianna over her girls. She spent the better part of last week railing at Dianna about the twins. NO MATTER HOW BAD they dance or how much everybody else can see how bad they are doing, Selena is sure they are the best ones on the floor. Which, as we know is normal behavior for Selena. She is dramatic and has kept us laughing and shaking our heads, since the show came on. I know Dianna gets to the point she wants to slap the hell out of her.....lol.

Dianna's knee injury, had her on a crutch and had her attitude crutched up as well...lol. She attempted to talk to Selena, cause Selena said that is what she wanted.....but when Dianna tried to say anything, Selena couldn't find the off button, so Dianna just walked off on her. WOW....LOL..

When the Dolls hit the floor for the Creative Dance...the house went totally wild. Dianna's, 80's, Janet Jackson themed dance was amazing. The precision she had demanded during practice, shined through brightly. Everybody looked fantastic and they rocked the floor. Best dance all season, I think.

Stand Battles came down to the Prancing Tigerettes and the Dancing Dolls. I almost fell out of my chair when the girl on the Tigerettes hit the floor trying to be Kayla...LOL..Kayla almost fell over. The look on her face was priceless. Then another girl came out acting like Camryn..OMG..You are kidding, right? Nope, Quincy was not kidding...He had spent more than one practice TRYING to teach his team to DANCE LIKE DOLLS...When the scorecard came down from our Teacher, Coach D, Quincy FAILED. Report Card IS IN QUINCY...YOU GOT AN F!

F For FAILING TO COPY PROPERLY and F For FEELING YOU CAN COPY ANYTHING the Dolls do and copy it well....and F For BEING TOO BIG FOR YOUR BRITCHES....Total Night....FFFFF....LOL. So the Question for Quincy would be...Is is REAL or Is It Memorex? LOL.. Of Course the Dolls walked away with the win. We knew they would. The precision and the originality of their dances carried the day. Though they did a reenactment of Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation...they did it with their own flare and moves...not a Copycat dance.

It has been a great Season for the Dancing Dolls and our show "Bring It". As it winds down and we get ready for the Battle Royale, we know that soon, it will be break time for our girls. As they get ready to film the next Season, we know, they are coming back before long, ready with new battles and new drama. We know we have several of our Dolls graduating and will be leaving. It will be exciting to see where the show and the girls go from here. We can surely expect to see lots more, "Mama Drama", especially with our sweet Selena. She has more years to be involved with the Dolls and promises never to leave us, bored or not entertained. LOL.

The Battles are far from over and though we will be seeing new faces, we know we are going to be super excited by the time the next season gets here. Folks will be filling their Friday nights with reruns of Bring It and anything online, that has Dolls in it. It has been fun and we can't wait for the "Battle Royale". Who will carry the Season, DDS Nation? Are the Dolls going to come out on top for the Final Battle of the Season? Stay Tuned! We Will Be There!

Nasty Attitudes Or Divas? Neva & Dianna!

I wasn't sure I wanted to write about last week's show. From the minute it came on, there were sparks flying. The competition, Divas of Olive Branch came, full of vinegar and ready to show out.

To recap, the last time these two teams met, there was nastiness and behavior, that would have been better placed in a grade school. We see men competing and boy attitudes creating struggles of manhood, all the time, in any game they play. But when women are in competition, the level of competitiveness & nastiness, goes to a whole new level.

It is easy to see Dianna's attitude change, when Neva is close by. You see her face change and her jaw tighten. Neva is just as obvious. The minute you see her, on the show, she is huffing and puffing and blowing hot air about Dianna. Its also obvious, this has been a long standing rivalry. Before, Bring It and before we all knew about these dance teams.

For several shows, since Bring It came on, we have been watching the storm brewing. Little snipes back and forth...giggling and trash talking going on...no doubt it has been building to an explosion.
The last competition they met, Neva ended up leaving the building with her team, before they announced the winners. This set off a fire storm of comments about bad sportsmanship and an adult acting childishly. Comments on Social media ranged from funny to down right mean. Everybody was surprised that she chose to just walk out. I mean, is that really teaching those girls, positive life lessons? Life lessons that will benefit them long after this?

I would say, NO! What it taught them was, when the going gets tough, turn tail, run and hide. Put your head in the sand, so you don't have to hear bad news. Don't face the fact that you may not have done your best or that you may have acted like a spoiled brat....just run!

Now, last week, we see Neva come in, to specifically face Dianna. Neva, though she seems to really care about her girls, isn't always at the top of her game when it comes to setting the example. I think, she thought, she was clearing the air, but it turned into a trash talking session. Dianna was not fixing to play, about trying to have any conversation with her. Before it was over, Dianna flat told Neva she was a joke. I think the whole thing, proved to be more like pouring gas on a fire. A fire already burning red hot.

The thing that was right on, was Dianna's assessment of it all. She said, If Neva can talk trash and act the fool then she has the absolute right to come back and defend the bullshit. I agree. No way, even with the turn the other cheek thing, am I standing still for somebody to talk shit. Bitch you need to get up a little earlier.

From the second the show came on, Neva was proclaiming her Divahood...which means, what? She continued to show out, throughout the night and even joined her team in the Creative Dance Competition. I am not sure if she was a hit or a huge miss. The Divas of Olive Branch were trending on Twitter, but I am not sure, for what reason! LOL. But she came out and threw it down anyway.

We had to know, Dianna wasn't sitting still for any of that. When it came time for Stands, Dianna rocked the floor. We know already that when she hits the floor, all of the other competition, needs to sit down. She did a Death Drop that brought the fans to their feet, in the competition and across the viewing public. I was recording the show and when I listened to it, later, I let out a, "Damn, did you see that"?

Well, we know who won. Regardless of the gimmicks and tricks, which Dianna declared, Neva was the Queen of, the Dolls walked away with the win. Once again, they put everything on the floor and brought it.

This win, has opened the door for Neva, to be even more bitter. With the Battle Royale coming, she is sure to be fired up and loaded for bear. We will be watching to see the outcome. But in the meantime, Social media is not cutting Neva and Dianna much slack for this last show.

There are supporters on both sides of this issue. Doll supporters are, of course, standing up for Dianna and whatever she said or did concerning Neva. Neva supporters feel like Dianna's "Boom, Boom" comments were fat shaming. So the comments have been flying. I think folks have even been put off of Social media pages because of their opinions.

So who is right here? Did last weeks show just prove to stir it up even more?

My opinion.....Folks are human. I am not authorized to judge. My own reaction, is just like I said above...When it comes to talking trash...I don't start it, unless I am provoked...I attempt to turn the other cheek, as much as possible..However, with only 4 of those, patience can run out, pretty fast.

I know for sure, I am not going to stand by and let anyone talk bad, when they started the whole thing previously. So, for me, this is a goose and gander situation. What's good for the goose, is good for the gander...which for those, unfamiliar with that quaint country statement, means if you dish it out, you damn well better be ready to accept it back. Dianna is fiery to begin with. She stands up for what she believes and she doesn't accept ignorant behavior, from those around her.

I think she got angry for good reason. I think Neva felt she did too. So both of these tough ladies are going to have to get that opinion, to gel with their beliefs, for leading these impressionable girls, they are in charge of. Were the behaviors of these ladies, building character in those entrusted to them or just showing them how to participate in a Cat Fight?  I don't know. Again, when the smoke clears with these two, I see Dianna defending and Neva being a bitch. In the heat of anger and frustration, we all say stuff, we normally wouldn't. So, I think this will be a discussion for a while, depending on your personal feelings, about it. Not surprisingly, I felt Dianna was right in this one.

Competitions, whether men or women, boys or girls, always creates high anxiety. People want their team to be the best. They know they have put the time in but regardless of where their confidence should be, getting down to the wire accelerates attitudes. Things are said or done and then things have to be sorted out later. Though I don't think these two will ever be buddies, hopefully they can coexist in Mississippi and in upcoming competitions. The excitement of the struggle being played out on TV is good business for the show and is fun to watch....but when it's all said and done, its about the kids participating....so we will wait and see where the fight goes from here...

Ding.....Ding!

Who Is Your Favorite Dancing Doll?

Since Bring It started last year, on Lifetime TV, it has created a swarm of controversy about who is the best dancer and who is the "Favorite" Doll. We have had many questions and comments about this subject. We thought now, would be a great time to talk about it.

The last few weeks on the show, we have seen many different emotional situations...Kayla making plans to leave the team and Camryn and Tamia competing for the open, Captain position. That decision was made by making them Co-Captains. For whatever reason, Dianna felt it was a better fit to handle it that way.
Last week we watched Coach D make the decision to NOT participate in the Captain Solo Dance because she thought Camryn wasn't ready. Her decision, right or wrong, caused many feelings to emerge.

Indeed, it has been a bumpy ride for the last few weeks...Moms fussing, things changing and all while the entire show is blowing up across the country. Fans are coming out of countries, I never even knew, broadcast the show. We have seen hits on this blog from Poland, Jamaica, Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Canada and more. So our responses to posts on Facebook and on this blog have been amazing and varied.

Also we know, everybody has an opinion. So we have just patiently watched to see what the reaction would be for the internal competitions. What we were not expecting, was to find out that "some" of the "FANS" had turned into online mobs. Picking their favorite dancing doll and then turning that into a hate fest for other Dolls. It would have been funny but instead it was very sad. All of those so-called "Supporters" had created a unsolicited contest and in the process, made the Dolls, they didn't like, a target. Hateful comments, nasty posts and unnecessary ignorance, have been popping up on pages everywhere.

So we want to take a stab at sorting it all out...

First, if you haven't noticed, the Dancing Dolls are a group of children. They are not grown ass women who can stand up and defend themselves against the Internet. Second, again, if you haven't noticed, it takes a BUS to get everyone where they are going. So, those two little tidbits, tell me, there are more than 3 people on the Dancing Dolls, Dance TEAM. With the word TEAM being the Operative Word here, we have to ASSUME..there are lots of girls there.

With that being said, It is a part of being an adult to know the difference between TV & Real Life. Bring It is a kick ass show. They fuss and they do what they do. It all makes for great TV. But at the end of the day, when the lights go out, they are still Kids..

WANT TO KNOW WHO MY FAVORITE DANCING DOLL IS?

My favorite is all of those who bust their ass to dance and work and go to school.....I love Kayla...cause she is a hell of a leader..I love Camryn because she brings a different style to the table and she is just so sweet...I love Sunjai because she dances her butt off and is like a sleeping giant...She doesn't say much and unless she is dancing, she really don't jump right out at you, except for that beautiful face....Crystianna is just a sweetheart and also has great talent...

BUT the ones you DON"T automatically hear about are like the thousand of girls across the country, who are busting their butts and winning competitions, traveling and working for something better...100's of Coaches who are showing up and teaching these beautiful young women and men to go for their dreams and work hard for what they want..SO MY FAVORITE is the ones who do it...Whether I know their name on the show or not...they are there..they are working and I love watching them and being a part of their support team...TEAM......KEYWORD...‪#‎DD4L‬ Means TEAM...It Means EVERYBODY....So Does ‪#‎DDSNATION‬....TEAM TO SUPPORT THE DANCING DOLLS....EASY HUH?

It would seem that the "FANS" vary from the  young girls, who crowd in front of the TV on Friday night, to watch the Dolls learn new dances and see what they do in the competition...... to the almost rabid, overbearing folks, who get so involved in the show, it takes over their lives....
Some would appear to be stalker types. There are people making FAKE Social Media pages, calling themselves fans. It has become a circus. I guess nobody really saw it coming. How do you anticipate the nasty behavior we have seen emerge?

So we hope to reach out to the "REAL FANS" and tell you that we support, ALL of the Dolls. Though we hope to write individual articles, each one of them, soon, we will never show the favoritism that says, we think, one Doll, is more important, than any of the rest.

We have come to love every single person there. Whether we know their name or not, we know, they are there working, everyday, to be the best dancers they can be. Each person that we see on the show is an important part of the Team. They each bring something to the table. Whether their personality or their special dance style or their attitude, we take notice of them and remember them the next time.

Being a part of the show, has given all them a chance to shine. Many of the people who are watching them each week, are themselves dancers.

We are watching lots of teams, who before, never thought they could go so far, reaching higher and working harder to see if they can be as good as the Dancing Dolls of Jackson Mississippi. They are buckin and dropping and dancing and putting in the time to see how far they can go. Just like the Dancing Dolls, there is not JUST ONE PERSON, who makes their teams what they are. They work together to put the best moves on the floor and to win each competition like Champions. Without  everybody, there would be no TEAM.

We celebrate and honor ALL of the Dance Teams across the country, who put the time in and work hard. We also celebrate and honor ALL of the Coaches, who take the time to teach and mentor our young people. Everybody that participates in dancing is a hero, in our book. What these girls do later in life, is ultimately influenced, by their time spent doing this. We get excited when we see them and we get protective over anything that takes away from their goals.

Kayla, Camryn, Crystianna, Tamia, Sunjai and everyone else, deserves to be cheered on. They deserve the opportunity to be teenagers and to be who they are. Nasty comments and ignorant name calling is just childish. So DDS Nation is going to make it our goal, to always STAND UP for what our Dancing Dolls do...not just individually, but collectively..not just giving praise to just one person, but lifting up and praising everybody's hard work.

We are also letting this be the kick off article before we showcase Dance Teams across America..We already have several ready to go..but we want everybody that supports the Dolls, that have Dance Teams to know, we think they are great too....we see how hard they are dancing and how they put their hearts and souls into what they do..we just want to give them a Shout Out and say Best Of Everything...So watch for those coming soon...And while you are at it..Don't pick favorites on the Dolls and let it become obsessive...Pick a favorite BUT cheer for everybody! Thats what DDS Nation is all about.

If you see someone else working hard, giving it their all, even if it appears to take away from YOUR Glory...give them a helping hand or a kind word or a hand up. Tearing people down, especially kids is a big ole No-No...Especially When It Comes To My Dancing Dolls...So GROW UP FOLKS...Lets Cheer Them Dolls To Victory.....#DD4L....#DDSNATION.....#BDD.....#DDP...

A Lifetime Of Dancing: Graduating From Baby Dancing Doll To The Dancing Dolls: Meet Kayla Griffin

In our ongoing effort to get to know our Dancing Dolls better, we are introducing Kayla Griffin, this week.
Yes, I did say KAYLA..not our Current, Captain Kayla, but a graduate and previous Captain, from the Baby Dancing Dolls. Kayla Griffin is a familiar face, that you just didn't know, was familiar. You have seen her on Bring It and more than likely, have seen her on Facebook or Twitter. She is a beautiful young lady, who stands out in her dance and her personality.

We talked with Kayla's Mom, Meia. We wanted to know everything she was willing to tell us. Of course, our first question was, How long has Kayla been a member of the Dollhouse Dance Factory? Her Mom told us, Kayla joined the Baby Dancing Dolls at the ripe, young age of 5. She has been dancing now, for 6 years. The next obvious question we had, was: "What has it been like for Kayla to transition from the Baby Dancing Dolls to the Dancing Dolls? Are there going to be more practices? More time involved to participate? She told us that the change has been a definite challenge for Kayla. She said, "Dancing with the Dolls is a whole new world. Even though they are 1 team, they dance on totally different levels." And of course practice is longer she told us, because the dance styles are so different." Well, of course...LOL...She also said both teams "Bring It" when they dance but the Dancing Dolls do a lot of stunts and routines that are much longer than the BDD."

Our next question was about Kayla's favorite style of dance. Meia said, "One thing I wanted Kayla to be, when she first started dancing, was versatile. She started with ballet, Tap and Majorette, but overall her favorite is Majorette and that seems to be her stronger type of dance."

And you know we could not let this great chance go by without asking about the future and what Kayla wants to do after the Dolls and school? Does she want to go to college? Will she stay involved in dance? Meia says the decision to continue dance is something Kayla will decide as she gets older. She does have a deep interest in Engineering and her college of choice will probably be Mississippi State. If she continues to dance, Meia says she will be happy with whatever decision she makes. She told DDS Nation, "I support Kayla in whatever she decides to do."

Since Meia is a DDP, we were wondering about her dance history and experience. We were so surprised to find out that Meia was actually a Dancing Doll herself. Under the direction of a lady named, Ms Charollette. Meia is like all proud moms. She told us, "It's amazing that Kayla kept the legacy alive...or is okay to just say, She Gets It From Her Mom?" And we know that is where she gets it girl. You go with that one. I like that description.

We wanted to know what effect, being on the Show and being more recognized, has had on Kayla and the family? Meia told us that Kayla didn't tell her friends at school about being on the Show, until recently. Which was an easier secret to keep in private school. However, other people recognized her walking by and would stare & say outloud, "Theres that Captain from the Baby Dancing Dolls". Others just come up and ask for a picture with her. Her Mom says it has definitely been an adjustment, to get used to folks, doing the things they do. Meia says Kayla is pretty neutral about the show. She just loves to dance..if she is on TV..cool..but to her the bigger thing is dancing..

We also wanted to get an idea of what parents like Meia, thought about the Show and all of the popularity. She said it was a mixed blessing for Jackson and for The Dollhouse Dance Factory. Exposure for the team is great and letting the world know what Jackson, Mississippi has to offer, is absolutely wonderful, she said. She said on the negative side, it had created many emotional situations among parents. Parent's, whose children, are not chosen to be on TV, tend to get on their feelings pretty easily. Meia was quick to add, "It's been a rocky road, but with God, all of this is possible!"

Our final question for Meia was about Kayla becoming Captain of the Dancing Dolls someday. She told us that people are always asking her about that. She said, "She might, you just never know. I am just waiting to see what the Dancing Dolls have in store for her." And we know that Kayla has been a fantastic Captain for the BDD, so being Captain for the Dancing Dolls, would be a natural transition for her.

We know at DDS Nation that Kayla is going to be an exciting addition to the Dolls and is going to dance her heart out. We look forward to watching her grow up with the Dancing Dolls. Hey Kayla...we are DDS Nation and We Are Behind You 125%!   Thanks Meia for giving us a wonderful interview. We will be watching and cheering for ya'll.

How Much Power & Influence Should Our Coaches & Teachers Have?

If there is one thing we know about Dianna Williams, she is not shy or scared to say exactly what she thinks, no matter who you are. Time after time we have watched her fuss at parents, students, opponents and anyone else who came across her path. She will tell you what she thinks and how she feels without hesitation.

That certainly makes for great TV. The fire and smoke that the high drama presents, makes it more entertaining. But in the real world, what effect does Dianna's overlapping, Mama behavior have on the real people she is dealing with? No matter what we see on TV, there are children listening and reacting to everything that is said and done on the show. When the cameras aren't on, the conversation is still the same..Work hard, do it right or move around.

Each week, we watch as Dianna directs the girls for the upcoming competitions. She yells and threatens and works them as hard as necessary to get the job done. Throughout Season 1, we watched her command the necessary behavior, for everybody on the team. Dedication and excellence are not optional and if you are going to participate in the Dollhouse, you have to be ready to give it everything you have. Which would be where "Bring It" came from.

Since Season 2 started, we have seen Dianna demand that dedication from Crystianna and Camryn. Crystianna's emerging teenage desires seem to be conflicting with her practice and with her time spent, getting ready for the next competition. Camryn, though dedicated as ever, had to step up her game to be considered for the next Captain position. Dianna appears, through the few minutes of show that we see, to be more in control of the girl's lives than their parents. She expects them to sacrifice any other activities for the good of the team.

The next episode is totally changing focus, as far as what Dianna is asking of a dancer. This weeks show will highlight Ms D's suggestion to Kayla about losing weight. We know Kayla is fixing to graduate and is pretty much working on last performances. So why does it matter? Why is it Ms. D's business? Is she wrong for getting so involved in what Kayla is doing and for sticking it out on National TV? Was it inappropriate to make this subject a part of this show?

So we thought this the perfect time to ask? How much Power and Influence should an outsider have in our families? How much control should a Dance Teacher have in the lives of our children?

That can be a tricky situation, depending on family dynamics. We are all supportive of our children in their pursuit of extracurricular activities. We want to get them to practice, make sure they have what they need and support their instructors, coaches and teachers, all that we can. When we sign kids up for any type of sport or activity, we have to be aware of expectations from both the Coach and from the kids.
If the Coach gives you advance notice of expectations, you sign up, then get mad, that's your choice. As far as kids and any activities, If they love it, they usually will hang through the tough stuff and do what it takes. If it is a passing fad, they will be whining and trying to quit, without putting the effort in to succeed.

Beyond the basics of choices, we have to determine who the adults in our children's lives are. Who has direct influence in the hearts and minds of our children? At that point, you can evaluate the amount of control you are willing to give them. Is it worth it for your child's future, to expose them to the realities of "Doing Whatever It Takes To Succeed"? Is it a choice that is positive and productive to your child?

As we watch each week, the emotions and the drama of Bring It, we have to allow for the bigger picture. Behind this show is a whole community of people. Before Ms. Dianna ever thought of TV, she was spending her time trying to make a difference in the lives of girls in Jackson, Mississippi. She hasn't changed. She just got the opportunity to show the World, her love and concern for the welfare of our young women. It's got bigger and more widespread, but nothing else has changed.

It became a Social Norm over the last 20 years to coddle our children and to tell them whatever feel good things we could tell them. Society told us it was better for a child's self esteem and well being to let everybody be a winner and to tell everybody they are doing great. Well, that may have been the talk going on in the big cities and the more liberal society, in this country or so it appeared.

However, down in Jackson, Mississippi, in the Good Ole South, folks have always been somewhat more plain spoken, than the rest of the country. The old gentler South is a myth. The fact that we usually try to throw a "sugar" or a "honey"  in the conversation, doesn't mean we aren't telling you how it is. Even saying, "Bless Your Heart" means, We want to slap you for being so stupid, but instead, we are going to try and not do that! But you need to straighten up now! Because we will slap you. LOL.. Everybody knows that, down South.

There is also another belief down South, that hasn't changed. " It takes a Village to raise a child". That saying has been around for as long as I can remember, which is a long time. When we watch Dianna Williams and her handling of the girls of the Dollhouse Dance Factory, we should be mindful of all of those facts.

She is a strong, caring Southern Woman and she believes with all of heart, in the mission she is on. The hearts and minds she comes in contact with daily are watching dreams in action. A dream she worked at and fought for, long before we ever knew who she was. If ever in life, there was an example of dedication and endurance, her story is that example. So to answer the questions: Is it right for Dianna to get so involved in the lives of the girls of the Dollhouse Dance Factory? Is she doing more harm than good to the girls for the sake of the show and for her own gain?
My personal opinion is, Damn right she should get involved. More harm than good? Not in the "REAL" World. In the world all of us grow up, to live in, nobody cares, if "you" don't like what they say about you! It is the old "Dog eat Dog mentality on every corner. To butter children's egos and not be honest, about everything with them, is where the damage comes in.

When we raise children with honesty and real life, they are more willing, to work harder for their dreams. They see what it going to take and their expectations are real. It helps them be who they really are, not building their lives, based on the theory, they are the best at something, just because they showed up.

What the TV Show has done is allow her tough rules and her determination to create a wave across the the World. A wave of "Get Involved In The Lives Of Our Children"! Stop standing by and watching them turnout bad. Be a parent! Be a Teacher! Be a Coach! Do Something To Stop The Madness!..Teach our young people to be proud of EARNING something!..That is the message! Not her calling out Kayla on TV? Kayla is a tough girl. She has been around Dianna for a long, long time...I would bet money, she steps ups to the challenge, as she always does!

Dianna, along with decent, hardworking parents, are helping the Village to raise a generation of tough, bad ass women. They won't be easy! They won't be quitters! They will always demand respect and have respect for themselves..Not because someone GAVE it to them..But because they EARNED it! How bad do you want it what they hear, not I am a failure or I can't do it.

BUT, at the end of the day, the combination of toughness and love are what gets the job done with any child. She isn't being mean or hateful or degrading to anyone. And Dianna never leaves out the praise or the love with her girls. She is the first one to tell them how good they have done or how proud she is of them. She builds confidence that lasts and a "pay it forward" attitude for every girl that comes through the Dollhouse.

And surely, Kayla's weight should be a topic on this show. There is an obesity problem across America. This show reaches millions of people.

Though Kayla is far from being obese, the bigger message is health. Her decision to be healthier than she is already, is a motivation for those millions of people watching. Her overwhelming influence with young girls, who love her, could be a turning point for anyone who wants to get healthier but hasn't.
If reality shows tackle real life issues and show real life answers, then they are valuable to all of us who watch. Life lessons that we could all use, if we choose to recognize them, are a bigger attraction to me than any of the hype that goes with it all.

DDS Nation will remain a strong supporter of Dianna and the way she chooses to contribute to our children's lives. We are thankful for Dianna and people like her.

BEING A BABY DANCING DOLL....MEET MS. CHEEKY...#BDD

So far, our focus here on the DDS Nation Blog, has been to highlight Dianna and the Dancing Dolls. But there are many more people who participate at the Dollhouse. Folks we don't always see on the show or if we do see them, they don't get the TV time that the older Dolls get. Though they compete in many of the episodes, we haven't really got to know them personally.

Our first Baby Dancing Doll is Destini Richardson, better known to those who love her as "Cheeky". I call her "Ms. Cheeky" because she is such a grown up...lol!

Destini first became involved with the Dollhouse through the Summer Dance Camp in 2011. She was hooked after that.Cheeky has now been a member of the Dollhouse since 2013. In January 2014, she was promoted to Co-Captain. More recently, she was yet again, promoted to Head Co-Captain.

Most of the competitions that you have watched, with the BDD involved, you have seen Cheeky. You just didn't realize that you were looking at one of the next rising stars in the Dollhouse.

Destini's Mom is Myzz Richardson. If you don't know her on Facebook, then you probably haven't seen the great pictures she posts of Ms. Cheeky. She is her biggest fan and keeps her in the spotlight on Facebook and Instagram.
We asked Myzz about the reaction among the families of Dollhouse members, when they heard the news about the TV Show. Myzz said, " When the show first started, everyone was shocked and excited that little ole Jackson was about to explode".

We also talked with her about Destini and her experiences, being a part of the Dollhouse.
First we asked, As Head Co-Captain, what changes for Destini? Myzz told us she thinks the only thing that will change for her, will be just more hard work and dedication. In that position, we are sure, she will have to step up her desire, to be on top. That seems to come with any position on the Dolls teams.

We asked if  Mom thought her new title, would give her more opportunities to showcase her individual talents. She said throughout Cheeky's involvement with the BDD, she has been given many great opportunities to shine and show her talents. Myzz told us, the time she has spent with Dianna & the Dolls, the experiences of performing and being in the spotlight & as a member of the BDD, definitely shows in Destini's personality.

Our next question was about Destini's future. We asked her Mom, with all the sacrifice it takes to keep a child involved with the Dolls, is dancing something she thinks Destini will continue to be involved in after she is out of school? Her answer made us laugh but we understood. Myzz said, "I really can't say Destini always enjoys dancing but of course, she will stay with Dolls and will be a Dancing Doll 4 Life...#DD4L...Okay, Myzz, we to got it.. #DD4L...No doubt.

Her other answer to the question was that she has talked about college and about the future but isn't sure if dance will be something she will do on the Collegiate level or if she will switch her focus to Gymnastics.

Our final question to our BDDP was :If you had to pick 3 of the most positive things that you & Destini have learned because of your involvement with the Dolls, what would those be?

1. Respect for Self & Others

2. Hard Work & Team Work Make The Dream Work

3. Ms. D's saying: WHEN I THINK I'VE DONE ENOUGH, GO FURTHER

Of course when I asked the last question, I knew already that these things were going to be top of the list. They are for everybody, I have talked to, with the Dolls. Dianna instills these things in young women. The true Supporters of the Dollhouse and Ms. D recognize the values and the dedication, that becomes a part of all of the girls involved.

Destini Richardson is one of many wonderful girls, who will forever benefit, from being a part of the this organization. The hard work and team work will give her the tools for the rest of her life. As we watch each week on the show and we see the short, few minutes of effort and work that everybody puts in, remember there are hours and hours more of practice and traveling and competing, we don't see. The dedication required by both parents and dancers is all consuming and shows the love these families have for their kids.

Destini has a bright future with the Dancing Dolls. She is a beautiful, strong and talented young lady. She has a contagious smile and when somebody says give em face, Cheeky gives it her absolute best. I love watching her on the BDD and seeing her on Facebook. Her Mom is a hardworking lady and does whatever she has to do to keep Destini in the Dancing Dolls. We expect to see great things from Ms. Cheeky and will continue to follow her progress and popularity.

We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to write this article. Thanks Myzz!
